Please join us for our fifth Rock the Block event, where we will work to restore and preserve our community through the power of volunteers! Rock the Block brings together homeowners, volunteers, and community/corporate sponsors to offer minor exterior services to local residents. Teams of volunteers will help with: basic landscapingmowingtrimmingpressure washing and other outdoor beautification effortsDay of Info: - Please arrive by 8:45 AM to ensure waivers are signed and to participate in our welcome/safety briefing before we start at 9 AM sharp. -Participants must be at least 16 years old and accompanied by a parent or guardian. -Parking information will be provided closer to the event. -Please wear shorts or long pants and closed-toed shoes are essential. We will be working rain or shine, so dress for the weather! -We'll provide the necessary tools and safety equipment, including gloves and safety googles. If you have tools that could assist with the tasks, feel free to bring them, but remember to label them with your name! -A porta potty will be available on the day of the event. - Lunch will be provided.
